The top ten species accounted for approximately 90% of the total value as illustrated below, and Langoustine was the highest value species with a 27% share.

| In 2006 just over £323.6 million of seafish was landed into Scotland by UK vessels. Shellfish was the largest value sector, accounting for over 40% of landings. |
