During the past year, Scotland’s seafood sector has faced a number of challenges, ranging from a decrease in quota and the number of days at sea that fishermen are allowed to catch fish, to fluctuating prices at market. It has risen to these challenges, fishermen have worked more closely with the processing sector to maintain supply, and the sector is facing the future with determination.
